My Wife and I were looking for a new church home. Big Box churches let us down. My Mom, who is my Spiritual Rock, suggested attending a church for at least a month before making a decision. We attended New Hope in Wooster by invitation. My son was home on leave from the Air Force for Christmas. He wanted to surprise my Daughter at work at Jimmy John's Wooster. We sat in our position, pretending to eat an inconspicuous lunch. We noticed a family sitting nearby and felt we should fill them in on the chaos about to ensue. The man we spoke with asked what my son was going to training for and I answered F-16 Crew Chief. The man laughed and said he had been a trainer for the F-16 Crew Chief tech school at Sheppard AFB, where my son was going. After the excitement, I introduced the two and they talked. He and his Wife invited us to New Hope and we went the following day. It was the Sunday before Christmas, 2015. We were very impressed and agreed to return at the beginning of the year. We have been regular attendees and have enjoyed every service we have attended. Pastor Tim speaks in a way that we can understand. He uses humor very well and helps us understand the message. Folks at the church have been very welcoming. It is very comfortable. I once wore my Blackhawks jersey to church after seeing someone wear a Flyers jersey in. point is, it is very laid back with great messages. Pastor Tim asks for Prayers and talks of his struggles as a Christian which keeps me from putting him on a pedestal. It really helps me relate better and feel comfortable. I grew up in a traditional church and loved the Sermons. I had yet to find anyone who could impact me with their Sermon until I went to New Hope. We LOVE it there. For the first time, my Wife and I feel at home when we worship at New Hope Wooster. We're planting ourselves there! No frills, no rules, just great messages and a welcoming family!

Have been attending since September '12 and all I can say is, I Have Never been so closer to Jesus as now... The staff is amazing and the gatherings are awesome...

Warm and welcoming congregation helping those who are broken find hope in Christ. They have a contemporary service including a live christian rock band. Nobody passes judgement or as they are fond of saying no perfect people allowed.

Absolutely LOVE New Hope! I never knew that I could have an actual relationship with God until I started coming to new hope. I was an intermittent church goer in the past and since my first gathering at new hope I haven't missed a service yet in over a year! I look forward to Sunday! My kids never liked attending church but now can't wait for kids church! My whole family LOVES GOD, LOVES NEW HOPE AND OUR NEW HOPE FAMILY!
